I think that may have been win 3.1. I think you can record indefintely now,
but I do know that the one that comes with windows 7 doesn't even let you
play back, you need to open media player to hear what you've recorded.

oh, good point Gord. Does it allow one to record for a longer time?
I remember it only recording 30 seconds or something, but that was
probably back in the Windows 95 days.
