The closest thing we have now is the freeware sfz player found at
www.rgcaudio.com TO load a sound font into it, you need to move your mouse
cursor (jaws cursor) to the pixel cooridinates x 196 y 120, assuming a
screen resolution of 1024x768. It doesn't need to be exact, but pretty
close. You'll need to rap it with either the cakewalk vst adaptor, or
directixer without using the generic interface.

You willl need a soundfont player such as Live Synthe Pro in order to use Soundfonts with Sonar.
