You might get a better response to J-Sonar questions from the J-Sonar

Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar seven, jaws ten, and j sonar issues, Please
advise...
Hi all. I had to go back to my old single processor dell desktop as
my rack mount I7 machine won't be here for a while yet.
Anyways, win xp pro sp3, jaws ten, sonar seven with the two patches
installed, and the latest stable release of j sonar for sonar seven.
I just got this setup and did my first tracking with it yesterday.
That went okay except for one thing. For each track, even when I
maximize the strip, the trim control is not there. I followed all the
setup procedures in the j sonar help file and enabled the j sonar
control surface etc...
Also, the effects column is not in any project that I open. New or
previous sessions from my other pc.
Also, plug in windows are not working correctly, from waves to the
sonitus and cakewalk plug ins. When I have focus on the windows, the
tab key and arrow keys don't do a thing. I land on the preset box but
alt and down arrow doesn't yield any result.
Oh I don't know if this matters or not, but, my videocard is an ATI gl
fire v3100 and I have the latest drivers installed. However, sonar
four through six worked fine on this machine with cake talking, when I
was using jaws seven point one with this same video card, so I doubt
that would make any difference.
Sonar seven and j sonar worked fine on the two laptops I installed it
on but this isn't going so smoothly.
Any idea what might be going on here?
Thanks,
Cameron.
