That is absolutely correct.
Manually turning echo monitoring off rather than using the CT command, then
saving it actually keeps it off.

James, the echo only stays on when you come back to the project, if you turned it off by doing the Alt triple A command, which turns off the input echo and the arm for each tract. However, if you manually go in and turn each one off, you'll have no problem with it staying on when you come back to work on your project.

OK, but what if you save it with the echo off. Shouldn't it come back withsaving

I've made sure to do this sometimes. The last thing I've done beforea project is to turn off input echo. But no matter what I do, the inputechosavedis always on when I return to the project.
