[ddots-l] Re: Sonar 4 information.

Sonar and sound forge both allow you to loop samples. I don't know how much
information you know about how to do this, so I won't go any further in to
it at the moment. I think you can do more with sound forge in terms of loops
than sonar but I've never tried much in sound forge.

Let's get on to what I do know then.
Sonar is great, but I think but not for djs, or at least not for me anyway.
Here is what I use to mix.

A copy of winamp. YOu can get it for free at

www.winamp.com

Then when you've installed that and, go to
www.winamp.com, go to the option which says search and type in pacemaker.
You'll have to then press enter on the drop down menue and select plugins,
hit the search button or go button as its called here, and download it.

Using it is very simple.


I could go on, but if I'm on the wrong lines there's no point. If you want
to try them steps first, let me know then I'll continue explaining.

Inscidentally, i still use sonar for mixing, but we'll get to why and how
later perhaps.
