[ddots-l] Sonar 4 information.

Afternoon,

For somewhile I've been wanting to try my hand at mixing dance music, but have never managed to get around to it.

I've tried one or two off the shelf products that do this, but naturally they're not in the least accessible. I've also been trying to use SoundForge, but with little or no success to speak of.

I'm not sure whether the Sonar 4/CakeTalking packages are suited for this kind of activity, but they do at least seem to be the most accessible option.

Could anyone advise me whether I could mix tracks with Sonar 4, and suggest how difficult it might be for a beginner to accomplish such a thing.

Otherwise, if there are any resources, FAQs or similar that have detailed informaton about both these applications, I'd be interested to know.

Thanks,
Tink.
