I have a weighted Faatar 76-key controller, and a A-37 76-key Roland unweighted controller. That's all they are, controllers, you've got to either interface them to a hardware module like my bloody Yamaha MU128, wonderful Kurzweil PC2R with ROM optimized for Orchestral Percussion by Alternate Mode Percussion, or be miserably unhappy trying to figure out how to get my Sonic Implants MelloTron fonts to work at all...

I hope so, I had the Korg sp200 and it was awful. Kept it one week. At 02:55 PM 9/23/2009 +0100, you wrote:Hi, The Kork Sp250 is very narrow considering it has 88 full size Notes. It has one long speaker across the whole of the length so has you strike a note you hear it in almost the place your Finger is located, (just like a hammer hitting the strings). The hammer action is quite good, and it has 30 Voices, Pianos, Organs, Strings and they too are quite good. very reasonably priced. I don't need any (and I mean "any!") bells and whistles (except maybe external speakers), but just good functionality and a good price is sufficient for my needs. All I really need is MIDI signal transmission. Portability is a huge PLUS! Any suggestions?
