Before doing that, purchase and install back up software. Chris Bell on the Midimag list can tell you what he uses. He says it is extremely accessible. Then before you do a reformat, learn how to use the software. There is a recovery program you apparently have to use. I didn't know this at the time of my reformat... much to my grief. You are not two years old, and I know you know this. So please forgive the unneeded advice. But, if I can prevent the hours of frustration I went through... it is worth your disgusted shrugs.
