Neville,If you are familiar with waveforms and how they look on a graph-for example, a sine wave, then... the zero crossing is the point where the wave crosses the x axis, or zero amplitude. So, zero crossings occur with every wave-that's alot of times in a given area of time. Perhaps thousands of times in a single frame. And, you don't find them-sonar does that for you using a setting in the snap to grid dialog. As for correcting glyches, I believe that is exactly what setting your from and to points at zero crossings will do for you. But again, you don't look for them, sonar finds them(the nearest ones to the from and thru times) when the checkbox for zero-crossings in the snap to grid dialog is checked.
