If you have "snap to 0 crossings" enabled in the snap to grid dialog then, you 
won't have to think 
about it.  you would then set-up your from and through then, apply the fade, 
cut whatever, if you 
hear a click then, you may need to adjust the from or, through slightly, in 
order to get rid of the 
click.
