Hi,

That was my comment and you can definitely get enough out of a 58 (I use them 
here), but you'll find the gain knob turned almost to its end stop, hence my 
comment.

Hi when we had the discution on focusrite sound cards a few weeks ago someone 
mentioned something about its gain and that it could have offered a bit more 
gain aspecially for dynamic mics. Just want to know if this is a big problem 
when e.g. Using a SM58, or can you atleast get a decent recording level out of 
it? By decent i mean atleast between -4 and -8 dB.
