I once played in a band that was to open the show for Jerry Lee Lewis. This
was at a swank new country dance hall in San Antonio.
After our set, the stage people came out and set up a brand new Fender
Rhodes for Jerry to play on. He came on stage, took one look at the Rhodes
and walked over and put his boot on the keyboard and shoved it over and
walked out. No Jerry Lee that night.
