Correct and it woulod be a better choice.

as well he can run both 32 and 64 sonar, but you would have to install ct for both and it would ask during the installation wich one he wanted to install.

Steve, keep us posted.
Just to llet you know, as of today, Jaws 11 works best with ct.
There are some issues with 12 and 13 and ct working together.
I found this to be true and rolled back to 11.
Tomorrow, you will most likely get more help from the group. It seems to get a little quiet on the weekends.

HI Mark,
I did start Sonar before installing Cake Talking, and followed the
instructions from the DD?s website. So, a little while ago I
uninstalled Cake Talking, restarted my computer, then opened up Sonar,
and the message I got was that there were no drivers to support the
application and to check out the driver mode. I also sent an email to
a rep at Dancing Dots to double check the serial number on file, as
well as Freedom Scientific to see if my serial number changed when
upgrading to JAWS 13. So that?s basically where I?m at.

Steve, first did you run Sonar once before installing Caketalking?
If not, you need to do this, otherwise Ct wil not function properly.

Subject: [ddots-l] Reinstalling Sonar and Cake Talking

Hello all,
My name is Steve Giannaros and I?m a musician from Boston. Last week
I registered with this list, and have only been using Cake Talking for
two years. This is my first time reinstalling it, along with Sonar
8.5 on to a new computer.
I am having a couple of issues, which I am sure are simple, but I am
stuck. First, after everything is installed, computer restarted, I
open Sonar and the message says that this version of Cake Talking is
not authorized for this computer. Last week I bought a new computer
and also upgraded to JAWS 13, but as far as I know I still have the
same JAWS serial number, and used the installation code the rep from
Dancing Dots gave me. Some other info that may be relevant to my
questions, I now have a new operating system. On my old computer I
had Vista 32 bit, but now have Windows 7 64 bit. I also downloaded
the newest version of Sonar 8.5, which is Sonar 8.5.3.
So that is issue number one. Issue number two is, along with that
message I mentioned above, I get another message that I am missing
plugins, but when I go to "Insert" then manage plugins, it looks like
most of what I was using before are in there. Not sure if these two
problems are going hand in hand or two separate issues but can anyone
give me some insight or direction on what I should do?

Thank you!

Steve
