[ddots-l] Recording Tyros with Sonar 7

Hi all

I'd appreciate it very much if someone could tell me what I need to do so that 
I can use certain parts of the tyros II's accompaniment section for songs 
recorded in sonar 7

For example...

Let's say there's a really great bass riffin one of the Tyros II's styles, but 
I only want that riff, not the whole style.

How do I record that into Sonar 7 so the bpm matches and it is properly synched.

I'm sure I could've phrased the question better, so I hope you can make sense 
of it.
