Omar,
It does by default. I think CT adjusts this default away from the
Cakewalk
installation behaviour, but it's something worth checking if your MIDI
recording isn't playing ball.
Best wishes.

Tim,
I think she's only trying to record midi. A track doesn't need to be armed
for midi does it?

Have you armed the MIDI track for recording? This is required by
default,
although you can turn off this requirement in the Options menu|Global
dialog.
Best wishes.

Well, I finally got my driver installed for the MX. The question I have
is
when I want to record MIDI, the only way it works is if I have recorded
an
audio track prior to it. When I go to delete an audio track, the MIDI
recording won't record even though I know the correct inputs and outputs
are
selected. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Thanks.
Karen
