Did you mean cardioid? -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Hillebrandt Sent: Saturday, January 23, 2010 5:14 AM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Question about recording vocals I really think that nine inches is pretty good location, especially if not a good pop filter. I forget if the 1000 has different paterns or not. It is a slippery slope about room acoustics but I find with my nt2a that room doesn't play too much of a part if the typical tardioid patern. Do think four to five inches is too close though as could almost hear down your throat that close with my mic. ----- Original Message ----- From: "neville" <neville@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, January 22, 2010 1:23 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Question about recording vocals >I want to thank you all for responding to my question about recording >vocals.
