MessageKevin's right on this.  What you send to the producers is an audio CD 
with each cue recorded as a separate stereo track and labelled with the SMPT 
stamp.

It's OK to do the original composing in MBT but once your mixing down you need 
to switch to seconds and frames.  Remember to set the right frame rate as well. 
 NTSC is 30, PAL is 25 and film is 24.

As for playing the video, its imported as two parts, the pictures and audio.  
The audio is loaded into a standard audio track and the pictures are shown in 
the video pain.  The important thing to realise is that video playback can 
seriously slow down your machine so if your working alone, without sighted 
assistance, delete the video in the video pain.  The audio will stay behind 
which is all you need.  If you have to have the pictures there and things slow 
up then set the video to play back with a low resolution (320x240) and disable 
thumb nails.

The cakewalk help has a lot on video playback so you should read this if you 
haven't already.

  The video features don't really need to be "accessible," SINCE YOU CAN'T EDIT 
VIDEO in Sonar.  all you need to do is watch the video so that you know your 
music is in sync to it.  However, when you export your project, you don't 
export it with the video.  it will be up to the client to lay the music back on 
their original video.  The video is just a reference while you're working.  
Chances are, you won't even need it much unless your sighted assistant wants to 
be able to watch it as the music goes along.  
      Anyone else, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.  I've never 
done a video project before but have read a little about it.

    Hi all,
    I got a business proposal from a TV channel to write music for 12 episodes 
of documentary on a historical subject.
    Before I start thinking to accept it, I just want to figure out how much 
access we have to the video futures of Sonar with Cake Talking.
    Even though I will be working with a sited person, I like to have freedom  
as much as possible. I would be more then happy to hear any thoughts, ideas,
    opinions and directions. Is there anything in Cake Talking's tutorials on 
video production that I might be missing?
