Make sure of which record mode you're on,
Sound On Sound, Sound On Sound Punch, Overwrite, or Overwrite Punch.
If you're using CT Shift+r is the key command. Otherwise you could look in
the Sonar help for a better explaination and how to implement them.

Subject: [ddots-l] Punch problem!
Hello I'm in need of help again. I'm having trouble with punch ins. If I
Record a vocal track for example the timing is ok but when I go to punch in on
the track to touch it up a little the timing of the punched in material is off.
Can someone please tell me what the problem might b? I am using a audio file
2496, sound card on a computer using windows xp for the os.
Thanks Chad
