Dear all,
In my studio I use a desktop with Sonar 4 Producer Edition and CakeTalking.
There is everything ok.
For exercise me I use a Acer 1710 Laptop with the same setup.
The problem is that on my laptop, Jaws dosn't say everything what's been
performed by Sonar and CakeTalking. Per exemple: when I pres ctrl+z, the undo
function is done but Jaws dosn't say it.
Another exemple: in midi recording, when I'm in the event view and pres
ctrl+shft+space bar, I can't hear the notes of the selected track one by one.
And so, there several functions wich are not spoken.
The keyboard of my laptop is set in English United States.
Jaws is set in desktop mode.
I did the following tests:
1. In the CakeTalking folder, check windows settings, I receive the message:
your windows settings are correct for CakeTalking 4.0.
2. In Sonar, ctrl+f12:
A: initialize Sonar Jaws control surface, I receive the message: the Sonar Jaws
control surface was already installed.
B: Test controls, screen resolution, toolbars, keybindings, and supporting
files: here I receive the next message:
Onfortunately, one of the tests failed. Here's the details. 1. 3
Can some of you tell me how to resolve this problem?
Thanks a lot.
Pino
