[ddots-l] Re: Problem wiht Sonar 7 and CT 7

Herman, not tried it but, I doubt it will as it probably goes to the same web
page to pick up the update.

Does the check for update work in this instance or is it the same version as
7.0.43 CT file

Phil replied: indeed it isn't. Have E-mailed Bill about this. Currently,
you can't download the very latest version of CT for Sonar 6 or 7 from the
Dancing Dots website as they haven't posted it yet. Haven't herd back from
Bill when the latest versions of CT will be posted CT for Sonar 6: [CT 6.2.61
and CT for Sonar 7: [CT 7.0.50]. Have suggested that Bill make an announcement
when all of this is posted.

CT 7.0.43 isn't the latest version. If your not attached to some JAWS
settings, just reinstall JAWS. You can try repair first.

Sorry HF, but this was working fine with JAWS 9 originally. I also
tried it with JAWS 8 and got the same strange results.

I just re-installed CT 7.0.43 (latest) and problem remains. It's as
though it's a JAWS problem, like it won't speak in certain dialogs. But the
fact that the dialogs come up speaking when Sonar is in restored and not
maximized doesn't seem like a JAWS problem - it seems like Sonar or CT.

Get the latest version of Ct and give that a try. If still have a
problem, try using a different version of Jaws like 7 or 8.

            Hello,

            Something strange has happened.

            JAWS 9
            Sonar 7.02
            CT 7.0.43

In any project after pressing F6 to refresh I can't navigate the
Ctrl-D or the f4 dialogs. Some other dialogs work but these two in particular
do not. I hear the "ding" that indicates they are opening but do not hear
anything if I arrow up/down. I can hear each item if I use the Insert+Keypad 5
reading key.

JAWS is set properly to read highlights and the verbosity is set to
the beginner level.

Moreover if I then restore the screen, these dialogs become
readable normally.

I've re-installed CT 7 just to be sure and the problem remains.

Yes, screen resolutions and colors and all display requirements
are per CT requirements.

Help me before I try to restore back several weeks.

            Dave

After opening and allowing the normal project to load (two audio,
two midi)
