Actually, it might be called "split at zero crossings" in sonar. Anyway, this is covered in the CakeTalking Tutorial which I referred you to yesterday. That will at least lessen the chance of hearing a click or pop where the clip boundaries are. See lesson 37E 37F and 37G.
