Hello, do you want to be able to cycle through the sounds or look for
specific sounds? if looking though them, just use the track property, if the
browser doesn't work, it might be a naming problem with the synth, they
don't break things down in to categories, they just pile them all up where
ever inspiration struck I guess...

Subject: [ddots-l] Patch brouzing question
If I asign the pentigon synth that comes with sonar, to a midi channel, and
then do Colon, type in say lead, a wonderful bunch of choices appears and I
can scroll through and listen. If I try the same thing with the Z 3 synth,
it gives me the names, but the sounds are totally wrong.
If I go to the output column on the track and do control Y, I'm shown a
whole list of programs in which all of these leads can be found, by,
arrowing, through the whole bunch of programs. Does brouzing the patches on
the Z three work for any of you? I know many folks don't use that synth
cause they can't change the program sounds, but I like some, and would
really like to access them as easily is I can the pentigon. Does anyone know
how that might be done. Would hot spot clicker allow me to brouze and get
the right names? This happened to me before, and I thought after re
installing windows and everything else, the problem might just go away, but
alas, that didn't happen. I don't see anyway to brouze with our current
access to rapture or dimension either. At least the patches are all in banks
we can find easily. I'd like to know if anyone else has a system for
brouzing with those synths.
