Steve,

My problem cropped up when I used to have a separate monitor attached to a 
docking station for my laptop. There were then two video drivers, one for 
the laptop LCD and the other for the Plasma display connected to the docking 
station.

I had no end of trouble with JAWS due to switching back and forth between 
portable, docking on the plasma, and docking with no plasma.

Finally I decided to do away with the plasma display and only use the laptop 
display regardless of where I docked.

Only one driver and all problems resolved.
