The roland keyboard amp is a real good amp.

A Keyboard amp is also needed. What do you all suggest?

Not to be picky, but I really do love a good old 57 on a guitar amp, the
transience of the 57 just sounds good to my ears. A problem I have with
senheizers and other mics is that the top end sounds brittle with any kind
of overdrive. I play a lot of Robben Ford type stuff, and have a similar
tone, so sharp highs don't work for me. I do agree 100 percent with the
in-ears, if you can spring for the shure psm series with the e-4 or e-5
earphones, you'll have a great set-up.

Hi,

Can't say that I agree with you about the sure mic.

They are okay, but, just that.

I would recommend that you take a look at the endorsements page at:
www.joeystuckey.com

There you can read about some great gear and link to the websites.

I would recommend some in ear monitors from HearTechnology and a mike from
Sennheiser/Neumann.

The e945 is a kickin' vocal mic and the e906 is the best for guitars.

Thanks,

Joey

Hello all, I've decided to do some live gigging and am wandering just what
kind of gear I would need. I have my keyboards a plenty but the other thins
that I have are my studio things like my Mackey 1202, and my monitors which
I guess I wouldn't use on a live gig, I do have a Sure Mick of some kind
which I think should do fine for vocals. Can some one tell me what I would
need in terms of amplifiers and any pA equipment that I would need? I
should mention that I also have a drummer who has no equipment other than
his drums and I want to keep it as small and as cheat as possible with out
too much compromise on the quality side of things. Thanks in advance.
