[ddots-l] Need to uninstall Sonar 5 and VST adapter

Dear All,
             I have a VST synth that is being captured by my old VST adapter
that came with Sonar 4 and 5.  Cakewalk tells me I have to uninstall Sonar 5
and the VST adapter.  How do I do that without uninstalling Sonars 6 and 7?
I assume I choose uninstall from Sonar 's submenu and leave shared
components alone.  Is that the way to do this?
