Wee you ever able to install this correctly? Is it a legal copy of Sib 3?

Hello I'm trying to install sibelious 3 for completing some assignments and
it freezes at install. It says it Is copying a file but when I leave for
about 20 minutes it is still frozen and when I exit out I get the end now
dialogue. Running windows xpsp3 here on a laptop running 1 gig of ram.
