Hi Rod. Yep, sorry about that I did totally misunderstand.
In that case, you need to connect a tape deck to some audio inputs on your soundcard, then just record what's coming in using Sonar, or Sound Forge, or any other audio recording or editing package. If you can get a copy of Sound Forge and the noise reduction plugin, it would remove a majority of the background tape hiss.


as for what cable you need, that depends on what jacks your soundcard or mixer has.
