A good first step would be to get a copy of the free program CDEX 
and use that to extract the CD's contents to .wav files on the 
computer.  The last thing you want to do is transfer the stuff to 
cassette, as that would severely degrade the quality, introduce 
background noise, etc.  Anyway, once you have the cd's contents on 
computer, you can do whatever you want with the material in any 
digital audio program like Sonar, Sound Forge, Audition, Goldwave, 
etc.
