Jay,
To get a stereo sound out of a Leslie Speaker for a Hammond, you would use
two microphones one of which would be assigned to the left side of a stereo
track and the other to the right side. If you do not wish to use stereo
tracks, you can assign each one to a separate track. You do not necessarily
want to place the Mike's exactly opposite each other or they may faze cancel
each other out. You can experiment with mic placement until you get a
natural sound.
