[ddots-l] Re: Microsoft visual c++ Run time error at end of track bounce?

Cameron wrote: Hi all. Using Sonar 8.51, whenever I bounce tracks, when the
dialogue box goes away and I'm back in the track view, as soon as I arrow to
a different track, I get an unexpected run time error dialogue box, then
sonar is shut down. Any idea what might be causing this?

Phil replied: Don't know however, I would post your findings to Cakewalk.
they are vary good at troubleshooting these kinds of issues and would
definitely want to know about crashes like this.

come fast enough. I am so sick of this crap. Why is it that when you don't
have any deadlines
etc, windows behaves but as soon as you need to get work done in a timely
manor, it goes mental? My low end second hand Mac from 12 years ago was
more stable than this top of the line custom built DAW,

Phil replied: I wouldn't count on it. I am sure that accessibility or not,
Pro Tools will still crash out on the Mac, smile. Also, you couldn't do as
much on your 12 year old Mac so that's hardly a fair comparison, grin.

Cameron continues: the Win OS being the weak link in the chain I believe.
Sighs. Okay, rant over.

Phil replied: Hmm, not seeing any issues here running Windows XP SP3
Professional corporate here. talking of which, who built your DAW? Which
version of Windows do you have installed? Is your PC partitioned? Is it an
exclusively DAW machine or, do you have other applications on the same
partition such as Office etc and are you running all of the latest fixes
from Microsoft for your version of Windows?
