Forget about Macs. Voiceover is well intentioned but years away fromb eing
reliable for our complex applications.

Subject: [ddots-l] Mac Alternatives?
I seem to remember a discussion about jaws not being available on macs not
long ago. A friend of mine forwarded me a link for some mac screenreader
called voiceover. http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/voiceover/ My
questions are:
1. Does anyone know about it?
2. Does it work with complex audio systems?
Also, I am looking into different audio laptops and wanted to consider a
mac. Apparently, you can now run windows XP on a mac by creating a windows
partition and installing XP on it. Do you know of any hardware issues this
may have?
Jeanette.
