[ddots-l] Re: MIDI HELP

Hi:
if your synth is multitimbral, that is to produce diferent sounds
simultaneously, then you should assign a different midi channel to every
midi track.
then you may have a different sound on every midi channel.
but if you give more information on what you are using then we could help
you better.

Subject: [ddots-l] MIDI HELP

hello, I'm new to midi so please be pashont with me. I've recorded my first
track and I want to add more to the song but when I change instruments the
first track chages to the new instrument sound. I am chaging instrument
sounds on the keyboard itself. Am I not supposed to change sounds this way?
Do I have to change something in sonar before chaing instruments? Can
someone please help me I'm at a loss!
Thanks
Chad
