Hi Tim,
Thanks for your thoughts. I had considered the Corg as well. The M-Audio
just caught my eye because this fellow only wanted $50 for it. I have read
on line that lots of people had trouble setting it up and getting it going.
That's why I was just enquiring as to peoples thoughts.

I've got one and have been generally pleased with it, but you might like
to
take a look at Korg's equivalent (can't remember the name, I'm afraid), as
it has better sensitivity across the whole of the pad (the M-Audio unit
lacks some sensitivity if you hit away from te pad's centre).

Some guy is selling one for $50 on Craig's List, and I'm thinking of
getting
it. I didn't know if it was pretty easy to use for us or not. I also
wondered if the drum library that came with it was worth while.
