[ddots-l] Loading sound fonts into sfz?

Ok, I thou8ght I knew how to load sound fonts into sfz using Cake Talking. I'm getting no sound when I play my keyboard after doing what I thought would load the font. Here is what I did.

1. Opened a blank project.
2. Inserted the sfz player as a soft synth from the insert menu. I had the Sonar create the midi and audio tracks, open the sfz dialogue and not the synth rack. 3. I entered the sfz dialogue, hit F4 and chose the navigation item from the menu. 4. I selected the load program button and navigated to my7 chosen sound font file. I then hit enter. 5. Then I went to the program button and hit enter. I got the single selection for the Premier Drums sound font I was attempting to select. I selected this by hitting enter.
6. I then closed the sfz dialogue and made sure I was on my MIDI track.
7. I configured the input to my key station (standard practice) and my output to the sfz output track. I did this both from the track properties dialogue and with the individual input and output columns.

My keyboard was silent, and no patches appeared in the patch browser or in the patch column menu.

I'm sure I've skipped some step along the way; I've never really studied the sfz interface before. The docs don't go into detail about loading sound fonts, but I thought it was intuitive. I did get it to work once a good while back in order to preserve an old project that relied on sound fonts, but I cannot for the life of me remember what I did.
