Subject: [ddots-l] Kind of solving the Shut Down problem
Okay, guys, since I haven't a solution yet to the reason Windows XP won't
shut down properly, I picked up another way that might benefit others who
might have this issue. And, no, I haven't contacted MS yet. But, if you go
to the DOS prompt by typing "cmd" in the RUN edit field, you'll arrive at
the DOS prompt. Then type "shutdown -s" and press Enter. The system will
shut down just as if you did it the usual START, u, and alt u.
