JAWS is supposed to drop in pitch over long passages to indicate that it is
approaching an end-of-something boundary, like the end of a page. It will
drop in pitch but no change in the speed.

There are times in JAWS versions below 9 where a long read will cause the
voice  to drop in pitch progresssively while not slowing down the number of
syllables spoken.  What causes that when it happens?
