Hi, Bobby,
Yes, CT 7 works with SONAR 7 and JAWS 9. Make sure you have SONAR 7.02 and
latest versions of CakeTalking and JAWS 9.
SONAR 7.02
You must have SONAR 7.02 installed. SONAR 7.02 is a no-cost update for
registered SONAR 7 customers. To download the SONAR 7.02 patch, the
following link will bring you to Cakewalk's support web page
http://www.cakewalk.com/support/kb/kb20071226.asp
Find the link that says
Download the SONAR 7.0.2 Edition Update
And download and install it.
You will need to know your SONAR 7 Serial Number in order to download this
7.02 update. You should have it in print and in braille if you ordered it
from Dancing Dots. In any case, to find it:
Run SONAR
ALT+H, A for Help | About
You may have to turn on your JAWS cursor to read the Serial Number
carefully. It will most likely start with CWSP.
After you have installed the patch, run SONAR at least once before next
step.
CakeTalking for SONAR 7 Check for Update
Close SONAR 7.
Start Menu | Programs | CakeTalking 7 | CtWebUpdate
CtWebUpdate is a shortcut to a utility that checks to be sure you have the
latest version of CakeTalking. If you need to update, you will receive
instructions on how to proceed.
JAWS 9 Update
Close all programs.
Press INSERT+J to bring JAWS to the foreground.
ALT+H, P or Help | Check for Updates
