No, Kevin. If you do NOT use a version, you are the one who looses out. Gord, Just for my information, if I do skip to 7 and it works, does that mean that the SMA I bought starting with 6 will skip to 8 because I never used 6 and FS probably keeps track of registrations so I would get two shots going 7-8? Well, that is what I'm referring to. Basically, if you want to use jaws 7 it will probably work, but we decided to take the "we don't officially support it" attitude here. When I install Sibelius on our systems, I put jaws 6 on it. You might be thinking of "Unknown function call to menu access key helper". If so, I found it to be more of an annoyance than an incompatibility. It chatters for a moment when you try to access a menu item, then finally gets around to speaking the item. You can just hit control to shut it up or use your arrow keys to try the next item. I think you can still do a say line to hear what's at the cursor. Beyond that, I find things still work ok. Now, if there was something else, I'm not aware of it, and can't speak to that. js -----Original Message----- I seem to remember seeing a post here concerning the inability of the latest version of SS to work with JAWS 7. could you refresh my memory as to what the incompatibility is and what exactly fails?
