for what type of file it was in the beginning, I'll have to ask him tomorrow.

  Hmm, one question that comes to mind is, what kind of file was this to start 
with? If it was a midi file and you just saved it with that name and type after 
making only on the fly, nondestructive  changes in the track view, those 
changes may not have been saved in the midi file. Be sure you save as a normal, 
cwp file. And to be sure, save with a new name altogether, then be sure to load 
the new file when you go to test later on. See if that helps any.

    Hello, I have a friend who purchased some sequenced music and loaded in to 
his Cakewalk program, he edited this music and saved the changes.  Whenever he 
plays back what should be the changes, the file always revert back to the 
original file.  Can some one help with this problem?  Thanks
