[ddots-l] Issues with sequencing

Hello, I have a friend who purchased some sequenced music and loaded in to his 
Cakewalk program, he edited this music and saved the changes.  Whenever he 
plays back what should be the changes, the file always revert back to the 
original file.  Can some one help with this problem?  Thanks
