Oh Phil, nevermind me. It's a knee jerk reaction on both our parts. Whenever

I hear about somebody having a problem with their Windows machine, my first
inclination is to say, "Well your first problem is that you're using
Windows." Without, of course, considering that it may be user error, a third

party software conflict or, as in this case, a hardware issue which, I
wasn't aware of because I never had such a FireWire issue. Thanks to Kevin
for that info. At any rate, yes, it did sound like a categorical dismissal
of which I'm often guilty. thanks for the clarification.

Cheers,

Slau
