[ddots-l] Re: Installing Sibelius for the first time

Hi, Jeff,

Perhaps you reached one of us today. Don't know as I was preoccupied with
too many things for most of Friday!

Don't know if this advice will do it but I've seen it work for some people
including myself in the past on certain systems. Try running test 10 under
the F12 tests to get your Sibelius Speaking plug-ins installed before
running those graphics-labeling tests. Let us know how it goes.

Subject: [ddots-l] Installing Sibelius for the first time

Hello:

I'm having a problem with the install for Sibelius. After installing both
Sibelius 3 and Sibelius speaking 3.1.10 on my JAWS 6.20 system, I'm able to
run the first set of tests. When I go to run the custom auto graphics
labeler, I run the first of the 23 tasks, I get a "Please Wait" prompt and
then the tone like its refreshing the window. No confirming dialog box ever
appears. When I attempt to run the second task, I get an error telling me
that the file "Common Notes Labeler 1.syb" did not load and it invites me to
rerun the graphics labeler again. When I say OK to the message box, the
Common Notes Labeler 1.syb appears to be the file loaded and on the screen.

I'm running a windows XP pro system which passed all of the tests up until
this point. Does anyone have any great ideas until I can get a hold of
Dancing Dots in the morning??

Thanks
Jeff
