Jean,
Isn't there a button somewhere on the installer to "search for other versions of Jaws" or something like that? I had this problem a while back(around CT version 4.x or something) and found a button for "other versions"

OK for the graphics, but this one seems to have gotten thru?
I need to install CT 3 5.2 or 5.3 on Jaws 6.2 because I'm already using Jaws 7.0, 7.1 and 8.0 for Sonar 6 with CT 6 and J Sonar 6. At the moment, I'm using CT 5.3 with Jaws 8.0 but I want to free it up for Sonar 6.2. When I installed Jaws 8 on my machine, I uninstalled CT 5.3 from Jaws 6.2 to put it on Jaws 8 and since then, I am no longer able to reinstall it to Jaws 6.2! It worked really well with Jaws 6.2 and I guess I should have let it alone.<grin>!!! 
So, that's the deal!

Hi Jean,

I suspect the reason you didn't get an answer before was
that your message was rejected due to the list message size
limitation of 20k.  Your graphics alone come to 27k.

I know you should technically be able to have JAWS 6.2
running, but 7.0 or 7.1 is recommended by Dancing Dots. (See
http://www.dancingdots.com/support/supportcaketalking5.htm
for details)

Can you also check the version of CakeTalking?  You should
have 5.2.
