[ddots-l] Re: Inserting soft synths

Even if you choose the wdm driver, you still will need to set the buffers in the delta control pannel in the hardware tab.

the reccomended latency setting is around 128with asio.
and with wdm you can use the buffer size slider . why don't you try changing to wdm in the options\audio\advanced\driver mode , and then running the sonar's wave profile.
and see what happens.

Sound card is the delta 10/10. Bob, I tried to set the buffer size to 0 and
it wouldn't allow it.

what soundcard are you using?
are you sure it supports low latency?

I've tried acio and the playback Q is at 2 already. I haven't tried using
Sonar 4 however. You said something about buffers, is that not the same as
the buffer size?

is your sonar 4 working right now in that same machine? what soundcard are
you using?
did you try both wdm and asio drivers?
also check buffers in playback cue.set it at 2.

Hello all, I've attempted to insert the session drummer as well as the
Cakewalk tts (I believe it's called), and with both I get the same response.
When I press the keys on my keyboard I get delay. I've played around with
the buffer size adjusting it down to about and eight and still no success.
I'm using Sonar producer 6.2 and CT 6.2.4; I could use the TTS just fine
with Sonar 4 producer. Can anyone, someone, please help me with this
problem? Thanks
