[ddots-l] Re: Hotspot Clicker with Perfect Space reverb

Chris wrote: OK, I'll try these fixes and see what I can do. I'm really just
trying to set up a preset that will work for putting PS on an aux
bus, so I need to change the wet-dry to 100% and play with the latency.

Phil replied: or, you could just turn the dry off completely. I think that
button works fine in
HSC.

Chris wrote: Speaking of latency, the current value is 4096 samples, which at my
current 44.1k sample rate is almost a tenth of a second. I have
heard that PS is a bit of a hog, so I wonder if I will run into
problems if I significantly lower the latency in PS.

Phil replied: not sure if I managed to get the latency slider going in Perfect
Space.

Chris wrote: Finally, I also have access to the Acoustic mirror plug-in from
Sound
Forge. Which of these convolution reverbs is a better unit, and is
Acoustic Mirror in SF 8 more usable with JFW?

Phil replied: I would stick to PerfectSpace as you can patch it directly on to
a buss. Also, you
could use some of the Sound Forge impulses with PerfectSpace if you like.
