[ddots-l] Re: Hotspot Clicker with Perfect Space reverb

OK, I'll try these fixes and see what I can do. I'm really just trying to set up a preset that will work for putting PS on an aux bus, so I need to change the wet-dry to 100% and play with the latency.

Speaking of latency, the current value is 4096 samples, which at my current 44.1k sample rate is almost a tenth of a second. I have heard that PS is a bit of a hog, so I wonder if I will run into problems if I significantly lower the latency in PS.

Finally, I also have access to the Acoustic mirror plug-in from Sound Forge. Which of these convolution reverbs is a better unit, and is Acoustic Mirror in SF 8 more usable with JFW?

two problems.

1. When I open the Perfect Space dialogue, HSC doesn't switch
automatically to Perfect Space and is still running the SONARPDR
application. OK, I solved that, but isn't there a way to
automatically tell HSC to switch sets when the Perfect Space window comes up?

Phil replied: yes, you should enable "automatic Switching in HotSpotClicker. You can do that under
the HSC mods double F1 menu.

adjust the Perfect Space latency, I am instructed to "lock the left
mouse button."

Phil replied: when you installed HSC after installing CT, did you run the "keymap refresh" utility
under the HSC mods F10 menu?

Chris wrote: OK, I hit ins-* to lock the left mouse button, but I
get kicked out into the main Sonarpdr window. This behaviour is
consistent on every control I try. What giveth here?

Phil replied: there are some well known issues with that particular HSC set that I haven't gotten
around to fixing yet.
