[ddots-l] Re: Graphics Recognition Failure In Sib. Speak

Had a similar issue recently with F12 failing.

If you are using a laptop, make sure JAWS it set to use a
standard keyboard, not a laptop layout.

Subject: [ddots-l] Graphics Recognition Failure In Sib.
Speak

Hi there,

Can anyone help solve my problem? I'm not a computer wiz
and I'm failing test 7 in recognising the graphics in Sib
Speak 3.

Test 8 says my video card has the potential to read
graphics.

I tried re-installing Sib. Speak 3,

the Windows Configuration Test was fine.

When I did the trick of closing and re-booting Sibelius and
JAWS it said 'Graphic Interface' and I couldn't use the f12
or Control f12 function.

So, here I am with a Sib. Speak system that used to work
happily on my previous computer. Have I left any stone
unturned or should I investigate in a different video card?
I'd be most grateful for any advice.

Marée

By the way I'm using:

Jaws version 5, 10, 383, 0,

Sibelius 3.1.3.18,

Sibelius Speaking version 3.1.10, for Windows XP with
keypad graphics recognition.

I think my video card is

Plug and Play Monitor and Intel® 82945G Express Chipset
Family

Normal Size 96 DPI
