[ddots-l] GM Sounds in CakeWalk 8 not working

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with playing sounds on my keyboard and wanted to know if 
someone might be able to help. I’ve recently had to reinstall all of my 
programs and am trying to configure CakeWalk to work with my Korg x3. I am 
using Sonar 8 with Jaws 8 and running on a windows xp system.

I loaded a 16 track midi template from one of the dialogs, but I am having 
trouble hearing the general midi sounds that are in the patch combo box on my 
keyboard. The sounds in the combo box don’t match what I’m hearing on the 
keyboard. The bank is set to 0general midi and the channels are the same as the 
track numbers. Thanks in advance.
