Instad of copying, why not cut them and move them back this way? Just use
the paste dialog to set at what measure they should start.

Subject: [ddots-l] Frustrations with moving events

Hi!

I'm using Sonar 8.5, the CakeTalking scripts that goes with it, Jaws
11 and Windows 7. I'm also using Garritan Personal Orchestra that might be
the latest we can use. I'm having trouble with editing events. I try to
select a track, or all of them, with a from and through time. Sometimes
copy/cut isn't available. I was able to select all of a track/all tracks,
and move the events forward by pasting them later in the project, but I
found that I moved them too far. So I tried copying/cutting the selected
tracks, and tried using the slide dialog, which acts as though it's working,
but then when I check it, it stays at the same bar. I've played around with
the snap to grid on and off, but I'm not sure if that's the only problem.
Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Sharon
