What I have done sometimes is to open the event view on the drum track where
you want to add the flams. Insert a copy of the note you want to flam
(shift I with ct I think), then just change the time value back around 10
ticks or so. You may need to experiment to get the desired effect.

enter a flam but maybe it would be the final 32nd note of a beat?
